I do not use IM at all due to the security reasons.
I’m sure that Greek39 could tell us all the exploits and hooles that they can use – but basically it seems to be that these messengers are effectively open pipes onto the internet – exposing any potential data …
… and that was described to me as being a bit like walking around the streets with your wallet hanging out of your pocket to the experienced hacker.
