I think that any effect will be lost in the myriad of legislative screwups and scandals by this Congress. I don’t disagree with you (oneguy), although some disaffected poker players could play a role if there are some close races on election night. (Of course the poker players will not get any credit for it.)
I think you (oneguy) are also right when you say that the politicians don’t care about anything other than their reelection.
To be honest, I don’t care if my vote is misinterpreted. Pick an issue, I disagree with just about everything the Rs are doing now. They are the party of big spending, deficits, pork barrel spending, and corruption… the same crap they ran against in 1994 when they took control.
Regardless of what issue gets the credit for any change in power, I just hope it happens. Any change of direction would be good IMO.
Also, I don’t really care who or what gets the credit for any defeat of Kyl or Leach. I just want them to lose.
