This announcement is FAR more devastating then anyone may realize today…because I think its a precurser to other MGS cut and runs from the US Market.

I think the Wagershare announcement was predictable. There is now only one MG PLC company or PLC-affected company yet to make an announcement, although a few Playtech groups may drop US because of Playtech’s position.

That will be pretty much it IMO until HR4411 passes.

This WHOLE last week has been about the PLC and protecting share value. Nothing more.

I bet no-one can name one company who is not PLC or who is not tied into a PLC company that has called it a day on US players in this last week. Maybe the odd UK high-street bookmaker which is perfectly logical too.

The main priority is to secure the US faced businesses.
The statement issued by Leisure and Gaming early this morning really implies that the US business will soon be removed from the PLC and operating independently of one another.

This will allow for VIP Profits, Casino Coins, 9am and all thier merchants to operate as usual and thus outside of Leisure And Gaming.

Efforts will always be made to continue offering services to US players, just as US players will continue to make the effort to play online.

Sensible move Mario :)

See…not all PLC’s think alike ;)
