I personally partner with IAN.com. From my own and my friends’ experience I can say that they are honest and accurate with payments to affiliates. They provide you with a lot of travel products to sell and their prices are quite comparable with those of such online giants like Expedia and Orbitz. So far I like the program.
I don’t know much about wctravel.com which is a Travelocity’s affiliate program. But I did not like this line on their sign up page: “In order to be approved for our travel affiliate program, we ask that your site meet the following criteria:….You are confident your minimum sales will be no lower than 20 hotel or airline bookings per month…” When? On the first month of your site’s existence? How can one be confident in getting a sale/business day in the first year of affiliation? It is really tougher to get sales in the travel affiliation business than in gambling, and even gambling affiliates start to earn decent money months after signing up. Besides, wctravel.com does not allow placement of their competitors’ booking engines on the same site. So I have to stay with IAN.com alone, otherwise I would have given wctravel.com a chance too.
