this is (of course) not likely in your case as I live in Kansas but an interesting sidenote: we have a weed which grows along the riverbanks here which I call “stingweed” that is exactly that. Its incredibly painful and from what I’ve heard the local Indians around here used to throw their enemies (naked) into it to make them talk.
What’s most interesting (to me) is the cure, the only thing I’ve ever heard of that works though I know people who’ve not believed me and thus tried every other cure they could purchase: rub the mud they grow in onto the effected parts of your body and relief is almost immediate.
*I’ve had more than one person think I was just trying to get them to cover themselves in mud and therefore despite the incredible pain … not take my advice. … however I am known for being quite onery and its understandable they might think I was lying to them. :bigsmile:
one last sidenote; pot grows excellently in this same soil, not too mention there is little chance someone will go after it once the pain sets in (from the stingweed). I suspect a high nitrogen content in the soil has something to do with this, and may likely also be involved in the cure.
