The U.S has managed to stop online gambling operators from setting up camp within the U.s boarders. However preventing people from accessing online gambling from the privacy of their own homes is quite a different matter.
A little pesky problem for the U.S no one owns the internet nor governs it. The Constitution guarantees free speech and the Bill of Rights guarantees the right to privacy and fredoom of association.
A person sitting in the privacy of their own home and accessing a online casino is merely exercising these rights. Any attempt to ban online gambling for U.S citizens means ammending the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Both are very unlilkey this is why the current events will fail.
Since when does the U.S Government decide what we can access over the internet anyway? Online gambling is here to stay!
