Writing to Senators will do no good. It’s my opinion they are doing it out of spite. The Religious Right knows for the most part they are going to be voted out in Nov regardless. They dont give a rats ass what they do between now and then. The more damage and more pissed off voters the better. The 109th has been known as the “Do Nothing Congress”. Now in the last 2 weeks they are trying to pass as much BS as possible to “get back” at the voters what they are going to do to them in Nov. My opinion Congress should have been shut down two weeks ago for the rest of the year. This keeps them from doing what they are.
