I try not to count the number of link requests I get per month. I never reply, unless the link has been solicited in some way.
As Dominique and others have suggested, there just isn’t time enough to check out all the link partners and make sure they’re legitimate, not part of a ‘bad neighbourhood’ etc.
Nevertheless, TheGooners comments have me a little disturbed:
Some are good sites – but still not sites I would personally use.
They get replied to as declined, and then binned.Some are actually OK – and I reply with a view to a link.
Usually only 1-2 a month of about 120 initial requests.
Maybe I shouldn’t approach you for a link exchange between your site and the betting section of PremiershipToday.co.uk then ?
