Let me clear up some things:
1) THE EVENT IS STILL GOING ON AS PLANNED.
2) Apart from Lou, all of the speakers are confirmed to speak at the event after calling them today. Only 2 have not answered our calls and are out of the office. So the Agenda is still booked. Site Scraping will still be discussed.
3) We do have some cancellations from exhibitors. Of those that have cancelled, some are not coming. Most are still attending.
4) We are honoring all sponsored affiliate passes for this event, including those of the programs that have cancelled.
Those thinking of fantastical situations should be more realistic. This event is at the Stardust, on the strip in Las Vegas. A land based casino would not want some form of negative press and would make it clear to those in power to refrain from it.

Mark,
Regardless of how ridiculous this situation may seem, there are some people that are legitimately concerned and do not want to take the risk. I realize you will not give any refunds, but would you be willing to instead offer those affiliates who paid for their own conference pass, the ability to exchange it for a pass to the Amsterdam conference? You have continuously told us that almost all affiliates are sponsored anyway, so there shouldn’t be many of us (especially those who are able to actually go to Amsterdam) but it would be a great showing of goodwill towards your customers. I look forward to your response.
