dont confuse a single page indexed with the site being indexed!. Sounds like you are saying the page with the link to your site is not in the index but it has PR. If the entire site was not listed ie site:http://www.domain.com returned 0 then thats a different story. Remeber google does not display all information on indexed pages as well as backlinks.
