I joined this forum this spring. Building a casino site was not the norm for the buisness I am in, but since I was a player, I thought it would be a good thing to do. So I built a brand new site and joined this forum. It bothered me then and it still bothers me now and I have to get this off my chest.
I have never seen such an industry where PR seems to be all that matters in link exchanges. It’s very hard and extremely frustrating for new casino webmasters to even get off the ground when you can’t get people to exchange links with you because you have little or no PR. Whatever happened to quality and the value of information offered?
I don’t mean to offend anybody, but isn’t CAP a community where we all help each other out? I have always made my link exchanges based on the quality of the site, regardless of PR. In fact, I think it would be a very nice gesture if some of the members here would help some of the newbies with a little present of a link exchange – that is if the site is acceptable – and if it’s not, give pointers. Would be a nice warm welcome, don’t you think?
Cat – I hope you don’t take my post personally and this was not meant as a direct attack on you. I am saying this to everyone here. And I am also not insinuating that “everyone” bases link exchanges on PR – just saying that we should help one another…
