I have to agree with peralis and everyone else, that this is getting ridiculous. I’m tired of programs (some of whom the managers are friends of mine) who “look into”, “have them take down your pages” or “have a talk with them”.
The response by affiliate programs to thieves stealing content and using it to promote their programs should be to immediately freeze the affiliate’s account. If this is the first offense and the thief removes the content, then maybe “defrost” the account. But let’s face it, many of these people have been doing this crap forever and their AFFILIATE program benefactors, KNOW IT!
It’s probably time for us to start naming the affiliate programs that benefit from this sort of crap and make them answer to the affiliate community.
