The tricky thing for new entrants that they cannot get #1 easily. It takes time and money to build that reputation.
Intestingly – the things that you’ve mentioned content / custom banners / bonuses don’t rate at all. It’s all eye-candy that has little real worth. I’m not really interested too much in using content and graphics that will quickly be the same at 1000’s of websites.
If I like your site – then I’ll preview it, review it (warts and all), promote it, and create the content around it. You want us to cover you – then work on having a good product and great service.
That’s the best thing an affiliate manager can focus on.
