Actually, I was testing that just last week, and was able to deposit with my card to a playtech, 2 rtg casinos, and 3 microgaming casinos. All the casinos I attempted to deposit with, I was successful. Obviously, the banks (at least some of them) have eased up on these restrictions (money talks with bankers, after all).

This is an attempt to ressurect the “Contract with America” used by Newt Gingrich some years ago when the Repubs took over the House and Senate. There are diehards who will “drink the koolaid” regardless, but I think most people are more concerned about their pockets than they are about who is sleeping with whom right now. Certainly, I can’t see the Senate making a push to pass this legislation. House Repubs are doing this for the sake of trying to get re-elected in November.

FYI, House members stand for re-election every two years, but Senators are elected for six years, so only 1/3 of them have to stand this year. Not enough Republican Senators are in jeopardy to force a vote on something like this.
