Looks like your not getting too many responses here Nick. What I would do instead of embedding the video onto you page. Give the visitor the option of viewing it or not. Give a link with a good anchor text, and nest the video in your root directory.The visitor would just have to click and view.
I know many sites that offer video, but for SEO purposes I think this is the best approach. Some may disagree with this approach, but its’ an alternative idea. greek39
