I personally think it is a step in the right direction. The problem is finding the scapers, they are all over the place. Mainly under entertainment directories such as Golf, fishing and of course gambling.
I also feel a double progged approach is needed. Scrapers should be reported to google and to 888.com. With the the thousands of domains 888.com owns it will be a tough challenge to weed out all of them.
I would like to also see the scraper links posted on CAP in large quantities per post. This would serve to moniter the progress 888.com is making.
In addition I think it would be fair if 888.com did not line their pockets from scrapers, instead reimburse the affected affilates.
I will wait and see if 888.com really means business, I am perhaps a little optimistic.
