It would be nice if the blackjack earnings were not bundled with the poker. This was also a concern of mine when I saw poker rooms adding blackjack. I don’t have enough players that it makes a difference right now, but in the future if it ever becomes a problem I will inquire about them removing the blackjack rev and just keep me on poker. In the long run if it makes me more money I don’t care, but I will not be a happy camper if my measly $500 a month poker revenue starts looking like nill month after month because of blackjack wins. I just feel like you should never have a losing day as an affiliate with your poker players. Poker revenue should be money in the bank and you should not have to sweat going backwards at all with poker. That is why I am actually working on my next site to be poker. It is more steady for me and if I log into my account and see I have made $1k, I know the worst case scenerio when payday comes is that I am banking $1k. That is a pretty good feeling and it is also nice to have the continuity in this biz. Blackjack has actually made me money so I am happy with it thus far, although I dread the day that I have a player wipe out my poker earnings. I guess it is all relative, if bj has been a profit center for you since they added it even after a few losing days, then I would just go with the flow. If you feel like it is hurting you then you may want to see if there are any alternatives but the odds say BJ will be a profit center in the long run. But I guess it is tough to come to any conclusion when you can’t make heads or tails out of your blackjack stats.
