More importantly never consider putting all your eggs in one basket. I have only been in this business about 6 months and have already seem my fair share of rude awakenings from some of the programs. The Party aquiring Empire Poker is a good example, they did whatever the hell they wanted to with complete disregard to the affiliates. Do yourself a favor and diversify, think of it like the stock market, when one property is not doing so hot the other properties have your back. Some properties will do better than others, some properties I have more confidence with them in accurately crediting me all players due, and some properties offer a better commission %, some pay on the 1st day of the month and others seem to have a problem making timely payments. The key is to take all those and factors and many others not listed and find a happy medium in deciding who to give the best exposure.
