REGARDING WHALES – IT”S VALUE PLAYED NOT TIME IN.
Poker whales don’t play more – they play for bigger stakes. So no – they’re not on for 20 hours a day. They just play higher value and richer hands rake more money.

AFFILIATE POSITIONING
I’d agree that at least half the sites I see being promoted are a short term plan only – and unfortunately that includes some on CAP as well.

Casino’s opening/closing, rebranding. Pluuuhhhheessseeee. It’s simply re-arranging the deckchairs. There are a few brands of poker – and a few networks – but in the end it’s about safety for the player, and fairness to the affiliate. And all the rest is window dressing.

Free-rolls, WSOP seats, match offers … blah blah blah.
:laughcry:

The whole operation with some casinos seems built around surviving long enough to be bought out for large wedges of cash – and as one senior affiliate has been saying on here – the casino/poker industry is ripe for a shakeout.

In the end the debate about CPA v Rev-share is as old as the industry. I can’t guarantee to you that one is better than the other for you and your site
(err especially site unseen – hint hint!!)
:satisfied

But all I’ll say is … I’m on rev-share.
Hope it’s helped … or at least given you something to think about.
:drunk2:

Good luck.
