I hit the boards and found out the right way to get rid of it including loading a specific regedit and rebooting in safe mode to stop it starting up so I could delete all files.
I then flushed the quarantine file and specifically wrote over the disk space where it had been … (literally digitally stomped on it).

IF I remember correctly it was a mix of SpyAxe(?) and SpyEngineer(?) which was using Vcodec as a trojan loader.
These things specifically go after your anti-virus software and then try to get you to buy a specific anti-virus program that they’ve “written” to clean it …
