Axl and Greek,

I totally understand your points, and I do agree that Fortune most likely doesn’t care too much about an APCW audit. If they did, it wouldn’t take a month to answer, and the answer would have made more sense.

That said, I still think we’re better off bringing these things to light. Now this issue is not mere speculation, and we webmasters know that we’re not crazy… there is something seriously wrong.

In response to the comment that “…several other programs have similar problems with tracking…” , we couldn’t agree more. That is why the APCW has recently made a policy change that was only announced to our Casino Members yesterday:

Dear Casino Members,

We have always done our very best to keep our members happy. We strive to offer a variety of quality services that are of value in your marketing, research, webmaster relations, and reputation…

Recently, some of you have request that we audit programs which are NOT members of the APCW, but this posed a problem. If we were to spend money auditing affiliate programs that are NOT members, it not only taxes our financial means, but it may also devalue our services. However, after careful consideration, we have come up with a plan to accommodate everyone.

Beginning April 1st, 2006, the APCW will randomly audit any casino affiliate program our webmaster membership wants us to… not just our casino members. At our sole discretion, we will audit and report on different casino affiliate programs as we see fit…

…We hope this action is a step in the right direction and will further enhance your membership at APCW…
