Interesting thread, though these opinions seem to be working from the assumption that if there was an ISP ban in the U.S. that most people would continue to gamble online. Perhaps this is true for the hard-core online gambler, but for those more casual gamblers, I don’t see them switching to satellite for their ISP, or spending the time to work around the issue in whatever way that may be. Bottom line is that there would be way fewer online gamblers if this were to happen, and that means that the smaller and middle sized online gambling operations would probably fold. Hate to be a doomsdayer about this, but I don’t see how an ISP ban could be spun in a positive way for affiliates.
Kind of agree with Axl. If the proposed ban did pass, then affiliates in the US would be playing with fire by trying to help people break the law.
