There should be a tech solution for that?

Let’s say: You have 2nd Tier Terry under Acme Casino. I have 2nd Tier Terry under Coyote Casino. Acme Casino takes over Coyote Casino. Who gets 2nd Tier Terry?

Casino says: Acme already has 2nd Tier Terry under you for Acme Casino so that won’t change. However, since you didn’t sign up 2nd Tier Terry for Coyote Casino you don’t get that action. I lose 2nd Tier Terry on Coyote casino because there is already an affiliate (you) associated with that account. You don’t get it and I don’t get it. The casino absorbs it back into their coffers. If you signed up 2nd Tier Terry on both Casinos, then 2nd Tier Terry will move across with no loss.

So far, I’ve lost several 2nd tiers in this manner. I put an enormous amount of effort into my 2nd tiers and while some don’t produce much, others do or have good potential. It’s getting to the point that it isn’t worth signing up 2nd tier affiliates. As soon as they start producing, there’s another merger and poof. You’re screwed again.

Yes, there should be a tech solution and this really needs to be addressed but the casinos will say it’s inconsequential and not worth investing time and effort into. But it is. Think about it… what are the odds of one 2nd tier program’s downline being the same as another 2nd tier’s? Not much, and you can bet that 2% was figured in when deciding to merge the programs.

Want to know whats ironic? I am the 2nd level GW to the person who is my 2nd level MM.
