Exploit-IEPageSpoof is *not* a worm, it is a trojan.

A worm will spread its payload to other users, such as by using your Outlook address book to mail itself to your contacts.

A trojan is a hole through which another computer may gain some control over your computer.

A trojan *could* spawn a worm, but it is not in itself a worm.

So – if you don’t visit the site, you don’t become susceptible to the trojan.

Now – regarding the exploit that ClarkePromotion suggested – it may very well be exactly what he is talking about, or it could also be another entirely different exploit of the vulnerability. Without visiting the page in question, I cannot tell one way or the other – but then again, I have no reason to visit the page.

I agree the trojan can spawn a worm.
