I’ve been in the industry for 2 years doing well and never bothered with SEO at all because it seemed like too much of a gamble (haha) one month you’re up, next you’re out of the listings completely, total lottery – the best way is to master paid advertising methods in my opinion. This works for me but as I said I have not tried any SEO whatsoever, it is far too much guesswork for too little reward. And remember now you’ll be competing with multi-million dollar companies who can afford teams of SEOs so I doubt someone working on their own will get anywhere near the top 100 for any gambling keywords.
