I thought of this upfront and it asks you for two during setup although until it grows beyond a certain number of sites i havent coded any randomisation in just yet.
In actual fact it’s geared to go a step further. Part of the install sets up a config.inc file which contains your link data. It is intended to work like Google sitemaps – you can edit this at any time and Slinky Central, when it pops in to check your links, also picks up the latest versions and updates the feeds with that. Still need to code that bit tho as I’m working on Slinky Central right now.

one more question. let’s say i want my recriprical link to point to an internal page on my site instead of my front page, it that possible?
I thought about this long and hard – well short and hard actually – and decided for the time being not to allow this for two reasons. One is the technical implicatiosn, but much more importantly is the “quality” implication. My feeling is that an internal page that receives less visitors (potentially) is more open to blackhat/quality abuse compared to the more popular home page. It also is likely to have a better PR which benefits other Slinky users receiving links. And finally, it makes future development of Slinky easier to manage.
Maybe at a later date if i can figure out the best way to handle these issues.
