You are right. Why can´t the poker rooms pay for this. And when they offer theese feeds and one want to know more about how to include them on ones site, they can´t answer :lookaroun
It should be in their own interest people can show tournaments as easy as bonus offers.

I agree, the poker rooms should be financing this. It is a marketing expense for them, and a nice creative to make available to their affiliates.
