Yet again we see the blame passed to a nameless, faceless person that is not able to defend themselves. Do organisations have standard templates for this kind of stuff with a drop down for “insert web designer, lawyer, marketing assistant etc”?
Lawyers draft terms and conditions but at the end of the day it is the organisation/person that instructed the lawyers that must read over the final version. If it doesn’t make sense or convey what they wanted then how does it get posted to the website? In my opinion there is no excuse for this kind of thing.
