Hi Everyone,
Steve, good to hear from you!
Okay, here are the banner code considerations:
1. Both options give you a banner tracking code which includes: the image and a tagged link to the casino/poker room.
2. You can add a six digit campaign ID to your btag that MUST begin with a letter. In the iframe option you need to add your campaign ID to just one btag and in the plain HTML script you need to add your campaign ID in two places. For example, using the format
3. Except for the addition of the campaign ID, neither code can be altered in any way. For example, you can’t remove the image link from the plain HTML script and replace it with a link to the image on your server. If you prefer to serve your own banners (which we recommend against – please read here to see why: http://www.brightshare.com/bannersandclicks.php) then you need to use the redirect link with the gif image and not edit the banner code.
5. The iframe option is the default option, but we have given the plain script option because certain affiliates prefer using plain html script. Both options work in all cases, except on some of the forum threads.
Please let me know if I’ve answered your question. If you or anyone else have specific problems deciding which script to use we’ll look into it for you.
Best regards,
Lloyd
