I have already heard through the grapevine that they are worried, and that they have held another meeting here in Montreal. The reasoning, however, continues to be that they are no longer viable if they maintain the individual casino calculations.
One of these groups is spending $20 MILLION on advertising. Does this group REALLY think we are going to believe they are in financial trouble?
Shame on you. You can’t fool me and you know it – and I hope you will consider this before trying to give me this explanation in person, because I will simply take that as an insult to my intelligence and the appropriate actions will follow.
I repeat yet again – I support your right to move FORWARD with this action. I do NOT support your misguided belief that you have the right to make this action RETROACTIVE.
