Even if the do say “this only applies to new affiliates’, I will still always be suspicious. If there are two different terms, one for existing affiliates and one for new affiliates, how do we know what they are doing behind the scenes? I believe that eventually the new terms will be applied to everyone. Example: Party says that we lose our players if they don’t play for 60 days. And let’s say they only apply that to new affiliates. Well, now they have to set up their software to make that distinction. But for how long? If they started to apply that to existing affiilates, as well, we wouldn’t know the difference. How would I know that they just took some players from me? And even if I did know, what can I do about it? The current agreement says that I “lose my players if they don’t play in 60 days”. I don’t know about you guys, but I don’t trust the ‘ol ‘this only applies to new affiliates’ speech.
