I’d suggest, that if this does go ahead, it only applies to programs whose changes are retroactively applied to players already referred under different terms. After all, it’s reasonable to accept that any business can set their own terms of affiliation, so long as it doesn’t impact the terms of previous affiliate agreements.
agreed.
and as someone else suggested, perhaps the title might be better served as a “changelist” opposed to blacklist.
that way it encompasses any kind of change to the original T&Cs which can then be eluded to on the respective thread.

I agree with Spear on this
And will add
Why would I have you on my site if I’m not making money?
EXACTLY!
furthermore, if you are an aff and you have casinos listed on your site which are not making money, (and you’ve given them ample time to produce), then you are IMHO stupid, yes I said stupid, and deserve what you are getting.
Why am I so adamant about this? Because if a program isn’t making you money but you are successful with others, then IMHO you are likely being cheated and most appalling of all, is you are making it possible for these scumbags to continue to exist, continue to cheat those that are unaware, because the money they are stealing from you is funding their excursion into the tomorrow, which allows for the whole damn thing to become full circle and to start over again.
I don’t care if everybody else you talk to is making money with a program, if you are not, and you’ve given them fair chance, yank their ass down!
You would think simple common sense logic would be enough to police this matter but I know for a fact that is not the case. Whether it is perhaps because a webmaster is making enough $ that they can afford to be apathetic to a dead beat partner, or some other reason …. there are many, many websites out there that have casinos listed on them that have been nothing but dead weight to the webmaster for 6 months or much longer.
People need to start thinking in terms of that these leeches are doing more damage than just the fact they are taking up precious advertising space. As I said, they are likely cheating you – especially if you cut back their exposure and they come yelling “ouch” – yet you’ve never seen decent income with them
I had 2 peers just recently talk to me about programs that had approached them offering to sweeten the deal if they’d get back the exposure that had been taken away – yet the reason they were taken down was because they didn’t produce …. ? well it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that one out ….
Why would I have you on my site if I’m not making money?
that works both ways. Why would a program be worried about being taken down off your sites if it wasn’t making money there anyway? I bet this rings a bell to more than a few people who have had programs approach them about why they’d lost position, or been taken down completely: and of course, the reason you took them down was because they weren’t making you any money. Yet here they are wanting to know why they’d lost positions on your site?
btw, Casino Coins was the program I am thinking about. I cannot say the name of the affiliate but rest assured he has been in the biz for a while and I trust him to be honest about such things. To what gain would there be to lie to me? And perhaps he’ll read this and come forward to confirm …. or correct anything I’ve said. But I remember, it was Coins he had said.
they so suck.
anyway, the point is that if you don’t keep your garden weeded in a prompt and curt manner, you are likely not only cheating yourself out of $, but you’re also in turn possibly funding the kind of scum that is poison to everyone in our shoes.
(and I use this most recent Amsterdam issue as proof), that if one program sees another able to get away with shitting on their affs, soon all of them will be pushing the line further back against our already over-taxed ability to make any decent income in this biz. There’s just too much already stacking the decks against us….
I’ll get off my soap box now. (for newbies: I seem unable to keep from bringing this subject up about once a year- but in my defense, its something that is to everyone’s advantage, and that IMHO is not paid near enough attention).
