SEO is a long game and many sites which have been around for 6 months + and have some links can pick up good rankings on low level search terms “reasonably” easy for a while. Buts its very short term after Google does it dance

I have been very pleased with myself to get a number of top 5 rankings for particular casino names. (and still have)

But in my experience I have found that great as it feels to say I am number 4 for X search term, if its only searched a low number of times a month, the numbers can be non existent or maybe one every 4 weeks for that term make it feel after a while so what!!

But I agree with some of the above comments, 100 easy low terms can start to add up. But personally I would rather be comfortable with 50 mid term performing pages, and one or two good ones than 200 low level.

If you spend time looking at the top the 20 on google for high level casino/sportsbook/poker terms and compare each of there sites on there strenght (links/PR etc..) you will see on the surface lots of things that go against everything you read

Like why do 2 casino aff sites both targeting X casino does the one with less links and PR appear above the one ranking with the same criteria

(and yes I know PR is like christmas, it nice and you like it but now your older it meant more in the old days)

Goog is important but ultimately your site success will depend on a number of things

– Good content/stickyness – give your user a reason to come back and he will try more progs
– Quality links – not just being added to a link manager directory – hook up with a blackjack site and get them to link back to your black game guide “online black jack” href=”yoursite.com”
– Look at your site structure, how much content do you have or is just banners, how fast are your pages, how quickly do your new pages get indexed (if not you need to examine your site in more detail)

Content is king, user experience is king and quality links are king. All of these and you will earn regular $$/££ – I would rather have a user come back to my sites again and again as they trust it,than have them hooked on one partner

Google is like working with a friend who is a drunk, you know them but they do unpredictable things so you cant 2nd guess them. Which makes the rules seem crazy to follow.

So after my mini rant

I have one open question

– How many users does MSN have?

Once you have that figure – go work MSN – there new Algo is as robust as Windows 95 – easy to manipulate, it cant last – so make hay while the sun shines

End of Crazy IrishMan rant :)
