The Big G has been the targeted search engine by all people on the last years since almost all search engine traffic comes from them. SEO became GO (google optimization) with people always trying new tricks to get good rankings.
With so many people trying hard, it is impossible to have a flawless search engine and a lot of search results are irelevant, just inflated by webmasters. There are a lot more people trying to screw things than people to correct it.
Aware of this, the Big G has inserted more and more variables into the algorythm, trying hard to vanish websites with bad practices. But soon they realise that the algorythm has flaws, and they introduce new variables again. Google is dancing, dancing, and going nowhere.
Webmasters like the ones you refer, have optimized their sites in a way that will not get them top positions for long time. They may now have a gold key to the G doors…but G is always changing the lock.
Search Engines are changing. Google will loose some market share and will do a lot of updates on the algorythm. The best thing to do is to use a few clean and simple CEO practices, that will benefit in the long run and are able to last, instead of optimizing too much with practices that won’t last and are directed to one single search engine. Sometimes the best optimization practice is simply using common sense.
The case of tiyu123.com is simply a bad practice. It is nothing, it is a duplication of Golden Palace website. It does make sense to you the current ranking of this site? Not for me and not for G on the near future.
