Comming from experience you can’t accurately predict a stock price on a newly listed company. It took me over 7 months to get back the money I lost by buying stocks based on the ‘story’ (eg: poker is becomming more popular so poker room stocks should rise).
If you want to make money on the markets then take my advice and read read read. Unless you have a natural gift it’s a slow process, but a very rewarding and more stable income stream.
Also, this ‘latest poll’. How many people were questioned, what age group, what sex, were the people all current poker players. How much info was realsed on the people who took part?
