i gotta comment on this

i was talking with the guy who invented the poker-bot, and even sampled it myself
honestly, it is a complicated program to run, you have to program it how to play every hand and flop pattern, so it would basically play each hand exactly as you would, the advantage is that you wouldn’t have to sit at your computer.
i got rid of my bot because i actually enjoy playing poker, as far as playing multiple tables go, i imagine the poker room would track you by your ip address

there is a much more serious threat than bots and collusion at the poker table

1-a group of poker playing computer programmers had infiltrated a poker rooms(partypoker) random number generator, by doing so they were able to know what cards were coming on the turn and river and what seat would win the pot, from only seeing the flop they would have this info in a matter of seconds.
(i think it was party poker, not sure, but it was a big room)

2-whenever you download a poker room, a special “remote” exe file comes with the software, this enables you to play live poker and connect to the poker rooms server.
A hacker or other poker player can access that “remote” file in your computer, by using a special remote tool located on theirs, this allows them to login to your server basically, and view your monitor from their computer without your knowledge, so they can open a screen on their computer and follow you around wherever you surf, so you might be playing poker against someone who can see your cards, or possibly everyone elses.
This has happened at Prima Poker rooms previously, the guilty party/parties were from Sweden if i remember correctly, Prima itself is a Swedish based software provider
