That’s so true A. It really makes you wonder what the law makers are thinking when they send out a message such as “hit a guy with a blunt object in process of robbery” and get 1 year.
Sell a bag of pot and get 5 years.

most professional criminals are very aware of the different amounts of time you’d get for a respective crime. Why do you think the crack houses use kids as lookouts?
If that guy had gotten 8 yrs I guarantee it would have sent a whole different message to would be thieves in Las Vegas.
It would have said to them that they may threaten, but if they go thru with an act that they are going to do serious time.
I ask you, just how much less time would the man have recieved if he’d only held the brick up and threatened while robbing?
