The whole country took an extreme turn to the right (except for my homies in Illinois). I personally feel we are in very dangerous territory because the republican gains were by very very conservative republicans. Not moderates. Mostly right wing christian types. We are approaching a theocracy.
My dad is an old time republican and he said he has never voted so passionately against a republican in his life than he did yesterday against Bush. He’s really really upset.
I know some of you disagree, and I was hoping that a Kerry victory would allow the real truth about this administration to come out in February or so. Because I truly believe people will be shocked years from now when they look back.
