Not sure that the view source problem is down to Windows Service Pack 2. Sounds like you’ve just visited far too many websites before deleting your cache. Open IE > tools > internet options > delete files > OK.
Once you’ve done that, you should find that you can view-source again.
I love Open Office, though, that’s great software. But I do admire anyone who can get to grips with The Gimp. I downloaded that when it was first released as a Windows package and it was a bloody nightmare !
