I read your post about the chicken ranch Brad so I had to chime in.
I visited the chicken ranch the last year they flew people out there. Unless they’ve started again.
This was back about 20 years ago. The entire sod farm crew had more or less won a trip out there by braving a torrent of rain to put down some sod that was otherwise going to go bad, and so as a reward we got to go to Vegas.
anyway, I heard a few month’s later after we had been there that they’d stopped flying people out there because the guy had crashed into the hills that stood between point A to B.
I wasn’t too surprised to hear about it. The whole time we were in there – the pilot was drinking in the bar and the landing coming back which was on blacktop, was a lot rougher than the landing on the long dirt runway at the C farm.
Have fun all. Wish I could join you but we’ve just got the kids pointed in the right direction and I’d hate to leave now and find out later one of them also took the week off.
