I agree Prof, especially about PP. I hardly ever play there and find it to be at the very least suspect for similar reasons as you mentioned.
when you mix into the batch the fact of who runs PP, and to me, its enough to make me look elsewhere for my games.

be especially cautious of beginners luck syndrome. I see it happen way too damn much to not make one at least take into consideration there may be more forces at work than just random luck.
