Many of the poker rooms are streaky. I play daily and can really go on a tear and win several hundred dollars and am seemingly invincible then almost like a faucet being shut off I can lose everything just as quickly.
Now this is probably all just part of the game, BUT the cynic in me says there are times when the poker rooms seed hands to bump up the rake.
Too often when I am in a bad streak I notice I get pocket 10s and then another player gets pocket JJs and a third comes up with pocket KKs. The real odds of this happening at a table of six players has to be astronomical, but it happens all the time, so go figure.
Also my conspiracy theory tendencies spring to life when I think about robot players and how they could easily manipulate the pots and rakes and even take money outright….
I know I know, none of this really happens, right?
