Referback is a middleman between us and the casinos.
The casinos recently changed ownership.
Then the contract changed. You can put two and two together.
Referback is doing a good job – the best they can. They have gone to bat for us before on other issues and had to come back with mixed results.
Those who remember older times remember me being angry at Referback for their scum policy. I am sure Zane remembers me yelling at him in person, repeatedly. I was mad! I have boycotted Referback and induced others to do so, too.
So I am an unlikely defender here, and it is the first time you see me defending Referback. Hence Zane’s comment to me.
But I have had lots of time now to compare programs, and Referback is an honest, forthright program. You really can’t say that about a lot of others. They are responsive and I am convinced they hammer out the best possible deals for us.
The new contract is not really between the same parties, as we really work for the casinos, as does Referback. The casinos could also have disbanded Referback. I think we are a lot better off this way.
You did hear referback state in this thread that they are willing to work with each individual who gets affected by this policy.
Perhaps some good faith is in order.
