then again if you are not going for a nitche then what can you do? Of course you can do a theme to seperate yourself from the rest, but is it nessessary or is it even helpful?
It’s not really about ‘going for a niche’ more about, as Dominique says, branding. What you need to do is to assess objectively the strengths of your casino software and hide the weaknesses. If, as an extreme example, you happen to have 40 video poker games with a 200 hand game, then that is something you want to have on your homepage.
If you are using software that very few other casinos are using then you can promote ‘the Mike76 Casino difference’ and make a selling point out of this. You get the idea. You need to create a site with a name that people will remember and associate with the strengths of your product.
…but it needs to be respectable, reputable, safe, secure, honest and to sum it up – professional.
Agreed, but these things aren’t selling points, more a necessity. Audited payouts above 100%…now, that’s a selling point, but safe and secure aren’t.
Colours – well, blue seems to be in fashion at the moment for casino sites and I agree that there must be a reason for it. There are books about the psychology of colour that you might like to read. My gut feeling though is that if everyone else is using blue, you might like to use a different colour scheme. Again, you will create a distinctive impression this way.
