In the hopes of preventing an escalation in this argument between you and DVS, let me point something out that you have missed, Classics.
DVS didn’t say domain name has no value. What he is saying is that it isn’t necessary to have the key word in the domain name in order to achieve top SERP on the key work/phrase of choice. A talented SEO’er can achieve great success without a keyworded domain name.
His proof is his high success with SERPS for his websites.
