I think that, run right, the GPWA would do very well.
I wish it were run as a non-profit, as a true association, though. As soon as anyone is making money from something, it loses it’s value as an association, becomes a business. Personal agendas tarnish the goal.
Why don’t we all pool some money together, buy the damn thing, and elect a president?
And then run it entirely as an cooperative association – non profit. Membership dues to cover the costs, including paying back the initial investors (so that no one ‘owns’ it in any percentage) and perhaps hiring someone to maintain the website.
