I agree but you know there’s others that fit that mold as well and they’re all still slipping down the slope.
RB comes to mind, but I think they are trying to turn it around.
an old haunt (message board) for most of us webmasters also comes to mind.
And with each of the above; their downfall was for the most part; forseen by the masses and they all were warned in their own way, but refused to listen to the very people that put them where they were.
I remember (and I bet I’m not the only one by far) that wrote CC and said (basically): “what the hell do you think you’re doing? You practically dominate this industry and now you’re going to throw it all away rather than to admit you might have made a mistake? “
Because that’s what it comes down to. If CC had after about 6 months of seeing how bad things were going to be; if they had just went back to Microgaming (I know its too late now, even if the relationship was to be mended) but if they had went back and wrote all their former players stating as such; they’d still be at the top because that is how far they had climbed to begin with.
Crap I can remember when you couldn’t visit a gambling portal without seeing CC’s casinos all over the first page, now you’re unlikely to find them on 1 out of ten first pages.
And RB; well there’s a lot of things wrong there; but if they’d all been addressed one at a time when RB had the chance; they’d not have so far to climb now. We tried and tried to get them to address very serious (to us) issues that seemed to fall only on deaf or at best, uncaring ears.
and in the case of our old haunt; well there’s a saying out of the east (can’t remember which country) that goes something like: what good is it to catch the crook if in the process you break everything in the house?
