I didn’t mean to be insulting to anyone specific when I made my statement. And yes everyone in this business is in different time zones and has different business hours. I’ve learned to unplug the phone before going to sleep. I realized I should do this when my gf snapped at a casino at 5am one day (she’s cranky when she gets woken up in the morning)
I see no problem with phoning if the call is scheduled and the affiliate and manager have a solid relationship.
What is probably most frustrating is when casinos call to recruit affiliates. Casinos aren’t the only ones responsible. Ah-ha, epilot & kanoodle are three that come to mind. The absolute worst casino was MVP.
