Well google sorta is doing that or they were … if you search for say “giochi del casino del gioco” it brings up sites written in that language.
Casinos could easily set up links on their landing page based on location / language / – This would give the user the option to click on a link or not – or something to better address the issue.
I dont think the answer is in PHP Id think it would be better done with mod rewrites, but as spear stated some geo-users may not wish to use that language.
However I think that would have less of an impact than the rejections. Say 52% of all cards are being declined, but you only irritate 12% of geo-users by forcing them into a language site. Then by all means it would be worth it to increase your odds.
I dont have any concrete ideas, I only know something needs to be done and it seems that no one has taken the proper steps. I think the approach of directing users by region could be ironed out.
Yes Dean, may have to start implementing several versions of my sites with redirects based on region. Redirect US users to a site with only links that lead to accepted payment methods. Course the casinos would have to help out and create those pages.
Something more than what is currently being done can surely be done! heh!
