Its also my theory and has been for some time that affiliate programs have X amount of dollars budgeted each month to pay toward affiliates commissions. I believe they probably utilize several criteria such as traffic sent and past experience to name a few that determine who will be getting what and who will be “selectively shaved.”
It would be nice to think that everything is fair and that each and every one of us has an equal opportunity, but there are too many enigmas to think otherwise.
Interestingly enough I dropped every single link to one of these programs and some how managed to start making money – that makes no sense!
Now If I could only be selected more – DOH – this post will probably get me unselected from a few more! (Where is that gun?)
